With a fresh contemporary décor and a privileged location in the western dockland, this Amsterdam holiday apartment for 4 defines new standards of indoor quality.
If you take a look at the direct surroundings, you’ll probably realize that this apartment might be something special. And it is, indeed. It has been designed as part of a revitalized residential complex, with functionality, style, and convenience in mind. And the interiors reflect exactly all that. The bright, spacious, and elegant living area comes furnished with all the essentials – a flatscreen TV for some home entertainment, a classy coffee table, and a dining table with a set of chairs, adjoining the well-supplied open-plan kitchen. The apartment is located on the ‘entry level’, so you can access it directly from the passageway.
There are also two bedrooms at your disposal. One is furnished with a double bed, the other with two single beds, but both come in the same stylish grey finish to grant you a good-night sleep after a busy day of sightseeing. A fresh bathroom fitted with a double sink, toilet, bathtub, and a shower cabin complements the whole perfectly.
The western dockland area of Amsterdam is a modern urban district full of designer apartments, great eating establishments, and offering some of the best views on the northern part of the city. And this is where you’ll be staying. But another advantage is that it is a stone’s throw away (i.e. a 5-10 minute walk to the south-east) from the very heart of Amsterdam, where you will find all the usual sights and attractions, like the lively Dam Square, the splendid Oude Kerk, the infamous De Wallen, and the busy Damrak area.
On the other hand, since you’re going to spend some time in the western part of Amsterdam, why not discover it in more detail? Just across Brouwersgracht (to the south) you’ll find the picturesque canal belt studded with smaller – but really interesting – museums, art galleries, diverse markets, shops, cafés, and restaurants; there are also some more famous places to visit – like the Houseboat Museum or Anne Frank House. You should also pay a visit to the nearby district of Jordaan, which is known for its casual, laid-back atmosphere, and plenty of events going on here and there. And if you prefer to spend some time in some more ‘natural’ surroundings, the nearby Westerpark will surely be enjoyable to visit.
