Extra information: Because the apartment is situated on the 4th floor and only reachable by fairly steep stairs, it is less suitable for elderly or handicapped people.

This holiday apartment is located in East Amsterdam in the Dapperbuurt which is an area right next to the Plantage District. This area is a great place for those who want to be living amongst the local community while on their short holiday in Amsterdam. There are some popular attractions in the immediate surroundings which are suitable for people of all ages such as Tropenmuseum, which is in fact just across the road from the apartment, Oosterpark, Dapper Market and the ever popular Artis Zoo. If you are keen on walking with the masses then head into the Canal Belt which is the central part of Amsterdam and where you can find the likes of Dam Square, Old Church, Red Light District, China Town and the floating Flower Market. Dam Square is only over a ten minute tram ride away via tram 9 from near the apartment. If you enjoy visiting museums then ride on over to the Museumplein with tram 10 from Alexanderplein and you can visit the Van Gogh Museum, Stedelijk Museum and the Rijksmuseum.
