The upper levels of the apartment house the two spacious bedrooms and bathroom. Each bedroom features a luxurious double bed with bedside tables and reading lamps, and provides the ideal place to enjoy a good night’s rest. Completing this stylish accommodation are the fresh and contemporary bathrooms, which are fitted with a toilet, sink and shower enclosure.

 

Important Information:
Please note that this apartment is split over several levels and is located upon the 1st floor of a building without an elevator, therefore it may not be suitable for those with mobility problems.
Also, the fireplace in the living room is not functional, therefore cannot be used.

 

Ideally located alongside the majestic Prinsengracht Canal, which forms the outer ring of Amsterdam’s popular Canal Belt, this apartment is perfectly situated within the city’s stylish Jordaan district. The area was originally designed in the 1600s to accommodate the ever expanding working class population of this vibrant city, however it soon became run down, overcrowded and filled with slums. In the 1970s a much needed transformation of the Jordaan took place, attracting a new generation of inhabitants and resulted in the sought after neighbourhood that it is today.

 

The Jordaan’s wide array of chic boutiques, delightful cafes and fine dining establishments can all be found close by, together with many must see sights and attractions.

 

Also nearby, located a little further along the Prinsengracht Canal, you will find one of Amsterdam’s most visited tourist attractions, the Anne Frank House Museum. This fascinating house was where Anne Frank and her Jewish family concealed themselves from the Nazis within a secret annex during the Second World War. Nowadays serving as a museum which allows visitors to follow the harrowing story of the family, the house is where Anne Frank’s world famous diary was written.
