De Pijp is known as the city’s Latin Quarter due to its wide range of cultural delights and culinary offerings from across the globe. Nearby is one of the city’s most famous markets, which is said to be the place to find a superb bargain. The Albert Cuyp Markets is adorned with around 300 stalls and dates back to 1904, offering a huge variety of produce, from fresh food to cosmetics and clothing.

Another attraction, definitely worthy of a visit and located just a short walk away, is the Heineken Experience. This entertaining interactive museum is housed within an iconic red brick, former brewery and provides visitors with the opportunity to explore the rich history of Holland’s famous beer.
