Visit the tempting Lindengracht food market on a Saturday morning, or walk round the corner to the farmers' market on the Noordermarkt. Also on your doorstep are the “Negen straatjes” (9 streets), home to many of Amsterdam’s exciting smaller boutiques. Just a ten minute walk away is the Museumplein, home to the Van Gogh Museum, the newly reopened Stedelijk Museum of Modern Art and the Rijksmuseum with its collection of world renowned masterworks. Something for every taste!
For those of you who want to venture a little further afield, hop on one of the many trams to take you across Amsterdam. The main train station, Central Station is also just a stone’s throw away.

This apartment was exactly what we were looking for for our third time in Amsterdam. The location could not have been better. Our host Marcel was fantastic. He was very helpful and even went as far as book a dinner reservation and printed off some paperwork that we needed for our trip later to Germany. We ended up having a lot in common and had drinks together one evening. Sylvia and Chris.
