Attractive one bedroom apartment; suitable for 4 people max. and located in the Old South District close to Albert Cuyp Market, Heineken Experience, Museum Quarter and Rembrandt Square.
De Pijp District Apartment 14 is an inviting Amsterdam accommodation which is located on the third floor from which you can enjoy people watching over the street outside while drinking your morning coffee and planning your next city adventure. The apartment has a real homely and cosy atmosphere which is exemplified by its sophisticated colour scheme of whites, greys and browns. There is one inviting bedroom that has two single beds and together with the sofa bed in the living room this apartment can comfortably sleep up to four people. The open plan living and dining area is a great size and along with the sofa you will find a light brown laminate floor, a dark brown rug, a marbled outline of the old fire place with a large mirror above it, a round dining table with four chairs and a modern white high-gloss kitchen. The apartment’s private bathroom comes fully furnished with a shower unit and a great bonus factor in the shape of a Jacuzzi.
This modern apartment is situated in the Old South District and more specifically in the vibrant Pijp area. This is a well-visited part of town which is home to the nearby Albert Cuyp Market; just 15 minutes away on foot. Here you can browse the many stalls and if you have a sweet tooth try the freshly made Dutch stroopwafels or be a little daring and go for a snack of raw herring which is served with onions. Wander down Albert Cuypstraat and Ferdinand Bolstraat to find exotic and authentic Syrian, Moroccan and Surinamese restaurants. Head north and you’ll come across the old Heineken Brewery which is now a museum and makes for a great activity with friends. Further north into the Canal Belt is Rembrandt Square which is great for a night out or an afternoon coffee and light lunch in one of the restaurants. Just west of De Pijp is the Museum Quarter where you can visit famous city museums such as the Van Gogh Museum or wonder into the nearby Vondelpark for a bit of relaxation.

I like to travel a lot and always stayed in hotel. This is the first time I hired apartment and I am very, very satisfied. It is more comfortable solution for long or short stay in Amsterdam. Location, cleanliness, kitchen appliances and service in all is excellent. Staff is very kind and efficient. On a scale from one to ten, my mark is 10.
