This beautiful apartment benefits from large windows, letting plenty of light in to make it feel cheerful and airy. The living room has a large sofa, ideal for relaxing on at the end of a long day, which also converts to a sofabed for two people. There are armchairs, too, meaning there's more than enough space for everyone to gather for an after-dinner drink, or over morning coffee to map out the day's plans. Wooden floors, great lighting and fun soft furnishings make this room feel like home. The kitchen is modern, and fitted out with all the things you'll need to create meals should you wish to dine at home. There's an elegant dining area with space for six, which could also be used to catch up on emails. Up a small winding staircase are two bedrooms, both in charming spaces under the eaves. The first room has a double bed, while the second has two singles, for maximum flexibility. There's also storage, as well as bedside tables and lights for extra cosiness. The modern bathroom has a shower as well as a bathtub, and an extra guest toilet can be found just off the main hallway.

The apartment is excellently located, whether your short stay in Amsterdam is related to work or leisure. Central Station is a ten-minute walk away, and here you'll find links all over the city and country, including the airport. For business travellers, the RAI Congress Centre is just 15 minutes away by train. The area surrounding the apartment is charming, overlooking the historic docks and enjoying lots of good restaurants and cafes, including some floating on the water such as the Chinese Sea Palace. The Rembrandt House Museum is a short walk away, on Jodenbreestraat, is where the famous painter lived and worked for nearly twenty years. You can take a free audio tour, and view some of his work. Close to this house is the Jewish Historisch Museum, the certainly worth a visit. Another major attraction within walking distance is the Anne Frank House, a must-see on any trip to the city.
