A spacious one bedroom apartment sleeps up to four people in the central Nieuwmarkt area close to central station, China Town, the Red Light District, the Old Church and Dam Square.
Old Harbour C is a naturally bright apartment with its tall ceilings, white walls and large windows. Groups of families and friends will enjoy staying here as it has a very welcoming atmosphere and is fully furnished to ensure comfort and relaxation. Situated on the first floor it has a modern brown laminate floor throughout and matching full length curtains on every window. There is a great open plan living area which is equipped with a corner sofa bed with colourful cushions, a green fabric armchair and a black coffee table placed over a rug. To the left is a dark wooden dining table with elegant black leather chairs that have arm support and next to the table is a fully equipped modern white kitchen where you’ll be more than happy to prepare your meals on the trendy black work top. Down the corridor you’ll find a big room with two single beds and two black side tables with red lamps. The white tiled bathroom can be entered from the room or through the door in the corridor.
This is a perfect central location which is only walking distance from some of Amsterdam’s most popular areas. Central station is only 15 minutes away on foot or 10 minutes by a number of buses that run from the Prins Hendrikkade street. Within 10 minutes you are at Nieuwmarkt square which is located in Amsterdam’s China Town and is home to a daily market as well as an organic food market on Saturdays and an antiques and book market on Sundays. Wander through China Town to admire the Fo Guang Shan temple and enjoy authentic Chinese meals at the restaurants where you can see ducks in the front windows. Just past China Town is the Red Light District which groups of friends enjoy touring through alone or with a guide. The Old church is also located in the Red Light District where many church concerts are performed and interestingly the church has a wooden roof and a floor that consists entirely of gravestones. Go onto Damrak to find souvenir shops, the Vodka Museum and lots of cafes and restaurants.
