Leidse Square 1 apartment Amsterdam

This fantastic two-level apartment can accommodate up to four guests looking for a comfortable place to stay slightly off the usual city centre.

The charming interiors boast a strong sense of space additionally underlined with light wooden flooring, high ceilings, large windows and bright décor overall. The contrasting light and dark furniture work exceptionally well, adding to the remarkable character of the place.

When you enter one floor, you’re immediately in one of the bedrooms and the living room at the same time. The two single beds offer a sound sleep, while the set of sofas, armchairs and coffee tables grant some room to chill out or enjoy some TV or a movie on the provided TV-DVD home entertainment set.

The other floor is where the kitchen is located, offering lots of useful amenities for daily use and a nice dining table with a set of chairs. On the same floor you’ll also find the second bedroom – separate and thus more intimate, furnished with two double beds and a set of bedside items. Right next to the bedroom is a modern and fresh bathroom, fitted with a shower, sink and toilet.

Location

Set between Rembrandtplein to the north and Frederikplein to the south, neighboring the river of Amstel to the east and a offering the attractions of the the Canal Belt to the west, this apartment’s location is truly special and privileged.

Step out to the streets and visit one of the many great eating establishments or cafés, like Restaurant Antoine, Tempo Doeloe, Patisserie Kuyt, Café Van Leeuwen or Margere Brug across Amstel, offering not only fantastic coffee, but also a wonderful view on the river. While you’re there you cannot miss the nearby Van Gogh Museum, found a bit to the north, and the neighboring Hortus Botanicus botanic garden and Artis Royal Zoo.

If you focus on the western side of Amstel, you’ll discover that a short walk away from your apartment you can find not only a range of charming alleys with fancy shops and boutiques, but also a group of great museums – Museum Van Loon, Museum Geelvinck Hinlopen Huis (both dedicated to Dutch Golden Age) and FOAM museum (focusing on fine photography).

Another attractions to be taken advantage of include a visit to Heineken Experience, a bit to the south – even if you’re not a fan of beer, then this place has got some magic inside, trust us, or a whole night of quality clubbing on Rembrandtplein – plenty of bars and clubs to choose from, always welcoming any newcomers.

Great location! morning breakfast was easy at the restraieant opposite serving awesome local pancakes and omelette. Dinner could be easy too with the yummiest ribs in town at the bar nearby that's always packed. And easy access to coffeeshop because its just next door! Haha
